4. Implying That Vince "Sucks" On WWE.com
In 2006, Cole became Managing Editor of WWE.com, which was reportedly under intense criticism from Vince McMahon at the time. In a subsequent announcement on the site, Cole wrote of the proposed improvements he was hoping to oversee, before adding: "So in summary, the web site does suck, compared to where we are going to take it, but it wont suck for long. Wish I could say the same for the boss." It's unclear quite what Vince's reaction was, or if he was even aware of it, but considering the fact that Cole remains a prominent figure in WWE some 12 years later, it's probably safe to say that he got away with this one.
