8 Things You Didn't Know About JBL

7. He Aims To Climb The World's Seven Highest Mountains

Would you climb the highest mountain for something or someone you love? Think hard. Would you even climb a mountain? Frankly, I'm not sure I'd be willing to climb a ladder.

JBL would. The former SmackDown commentator receives a lot of stick (even some light-hearted joshing in this piece), but no-one can say he doesn't have an absolute heart of gold when he isn't hilariously mocking people with mental illness or sexually harassing them in the shower. His charitable commitments are admirable to say the least and in order to raise money for the Family Centre of Bermuda, big John vowed to climb each of the world's seven highest peaks - quite the tall order.

Thus far, the philanthropic cragsman has reached the summit of Mt. Elbrus in Russia and Tanzania's Kilimanjaro, but was forced to turn back 20,000 ft up Aconcagua on account of potential death. Which seems fair. Keep at it, big lad.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
