8 Times Braun Strowman Didn't Look Like A Monster At All

3. When He Played A Doulbe Bass And Sang

In response to Elias’ song about winning the Elimination Chamber, Braun Strowman appeared at RAW with a double bass to sing a tune to the contrary. While the moment provided a couple of chuckles and led to another display of destruction, it was reminiscent of when previous giants fell down the card and started pursuing more comedic acts, such as Big Show, Kane, and The Great Khali.

In the case of many big men that ended up stuck with more light-hearted stints, the change was out of necessity. Some superstars started to feel the years of taking bumps add up, whilst others were near the end of their prime.

‘The Monster Among Men,’ on the other hand, is relatively fresh out of the gates, and is likely to go on to see many more years in WWE as long as he is physically capable of dominating matches in the way fans have come to expect.

The moment with the double bass wasn’t a change of character necessarily; instead, it was as though creative forgot who he was. Strowman sets certain mood when he enters arenas. He's there to destroy, not to make people laugh. If someone so much as grins at him, Strowman needs to give that person those hands, not smile back.
