8 Times CM Punk Disrespected WWE

Nobody ever needed to tell CM Punk to express what he really felt.

As surely everyone is aware, CM Punk walked away from the WWE all the way back in January of this year. It was a shocking move by the Straight Edge Superstar that left many fans bewildered and disappointed. Despite the walkout occurring over ten months ago, fans continue to chant CM Punk€™s name in arenas around the country, while insiders continue to talk about the circumstances surrounding his sudden departure. While the move was a surprising one, the seeds of frustration and resentment had been planted by CM Punk long before his swift exit. The self-proclaimed €œBest in the World€ was never shy about sharing his true feelings for the company and people he worked for -- a trait that only shined through more prominently when Punk began his ascension to the top of the company in 2011. Punk€™s love and passion for the wrestling business is arguably what fueled his growing frustrations, as he was seemingly dissatisfied with both the WWE€™s direction and his role within it. Therefore, the former two-time WWE Champion was prone to throwing some shade toward his employers and the corporate establishment in both the lead-up to and the fallout from the separation. Join us, as we take a look at eight instances where CM Punk disrespected the WWE.
