8 Times Hulk Hogan Lost Clean

8. Triple H (WWE Smackdown - 2002)

By 2002, Hulk Hogan had once again shed the colours of the nWo, and was riding high with the traditional red and yellow in WWE. In what would prove to be a watershed moment, Hogan had earlier defeated Triple H to win the Undisputed Title at the last ever WWF-branded Pay-Per-View - Backlash - and the company marched on, re-branded as World Wrestling Entertainment. In June, The Hulkster would meet Triple once more, this time on an episode of Smackdown, with the prize being a crack at the Undisputed Title against The Undertaker at King Of The Ring. Ironically, 'Taker had been the one to end Hogan's short reign as champion back at Judgment Day in May, so it wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion that Triple H would leave victorious during HHH vs. Hogan II. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLFnB9MSnyw Even this late on in Hulk's run, ultra-clean losses were not the norm, but that's what would happen on Smackdown. Going down to a well-executed Pedigree from his rival, Hogan would come up on the losing end, and be programmed opposite Kurt Angle for the Pay-Per-View, instead of being involved in the title picture. It's when viewing matches such as this one that wrestling fans started to realise Hulk Hogan was just another member of the roster, but in fairness, that's how it should have been by 2002.
