4. Kurt Angle (King Of The Ring - 2002)
During an earlier entry, it was noted that Hulk Hogan didn't need wins by 2002 quite as much as he perhaps had during the 80's. When Kurt Angle dropped Hulk at the King Of The Ring event in June of that year, it really hit home that these were changed days, Hogan simply couldn't make demands on winning matches any longer, and the spotlight didn't solely shine on him. To put it into perspective, when Angle made Hogan submit to his Ankle Lock submission hold at the Pay-Per-View, it was akin to the thought of Mr. Perfect beating The Hulkster in the late-80's - in essence, a smaller, more wrestling-focused performer was given the big win over the larger, more classic WWE Superstar. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1294v0_kurt-angle-vs-hulk-hogan-king-of-the-ring-2002_sport Both men would go on to have further matches, both in 2002 and later in 2005, but never again would Kurt Angle have such a truly huge moment against the legendary star. At the King Of The Ring, Hulk Hogan did the right thing for business, and it wouldn't be the last time before he rode off into the sunset.
