In the build to WrestleMania XIV, Vince McMahon and the then-WWF pulled a masterstroke by bringing in Mike Tyson to butt heads with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Not only did this make for electric television for wrestling fans, it also managed to bring in the non-wrestling crowd who were intrigued as to what Iron Mike was going to bring to the table.

After Tyson was shown to be siding with D-Generation X, this all came to a head with the boxing legend punching out Shawn Michaels at The Showcase of the Immortals after The Heartbreak Kid had lost the WWF Championship to Austin.

Jumping ahead 12 years later to a January 2010 edition of Monday Night Raw, and Tyson again floored a WWE talent as he this time rejoined DX.

That time it was Chris Jericho – who Iron Mike was tagging with – who felt the wrath of a Tyson right hand, putting a fresh spin on a iconic moment from 1998.
