8 Times The McMahons Took Unnecessarily Stupid Risks

5. Owens Nuts Vince

We've already touched upon the most recent example of McMahon madness, but it's worth reiterating. In no profession, under no circumstances, should a 72 year-old man, no matter how rude his prevailing health, be nutted square in the forehead. It goes without saying really.

Had it not been for the trickle of blood which quickly began to gush from Vince's temple, this could have been explained away as a very neat piece of work on Owens' part. But it wasn't: the running red betrayed the legitimacy of the blow, and its outright idiocy.

The subsequent beat down made for uncomfortable viewing, but it's reasonable to assume it was largely safe. Headbutting a septuagenarian, on the other hand, was reckless, especially given the very real injuries which befell Katsuyori Shibata earlier this year.

Looked good, though.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
