8 Times UFC President Dana White Lost His Damn Mind

4. His Feud With Tito Ortiz

Dana White and Tito Ortiz have long had a strained relationship. White once served as a manager for a burgeoning Ortiz as he became one of MMA's first true stars.

However, as White became one of the central figures in the entire sport as the president of the UFC their once amicable relationship disintegrated. The pair then entered a very public feud, and when Tito curiously demanded during contract negotiations that he would only re-sign with the UFC if the two had a three-round boxing match Dana didn't hesitate to accept.

Dana trained hard for the event but it was ultimately cancelled because Tito no-showed the weigh-in for the contest. The animosity certainly didn't subside there however, during the weigh-in for UFC 84 Tito wore a t-shirt saying "Dana is my b*tch!"

The two also apparently had a full-blown fistfight on a plane according to a recent appearance by White on Conan.

We were gonna fight one time in a boxing match but I actually never told this story publicly before but we were on a private plane on our way to Japan and it was my partners, the Fertitta brothers, myself, Tito Ortiz and our matchmaker at the time, Joe Silva. Tito and I were messing around and he put me in what’s called a neck crank. I was tapping and he didn’t stop. You can seriously hurt somebody in a neck crank, especially as big and strong as Tito is. So I just started blasting him in the ribs, started punching him in the ribs and when he let go, just jumped up and it was just a full blown fist fight in the plane.
