8 Times Wrestlers Faced Themselves

3. Lance Steel

A knight who had time-traveled into the future to compete in Chikara, Lance Steel was in dire need of a new tag team partner.

And who could be a more trustworthy or better recruit than yourself from a week earlier?

Yup, Lance Steel teamed up with Lance Steel to form Lancelot and make some waves in the tag team division.

Unfortunately, the seven-day age gap between the two Lances proved too much of a hindrance to tag team success, and their partnership soon fractured. The younger and elder Steels went to war in the ring, employing dirtier and dirtier tricks on each other. (At one point, the elder Lance purposely tried to get disqualified, then convinced the referee he was the younger Lance, granting the older Lance -- himself -- the victory.)

Eventually, it was decided that Chikara wasn't big enough for two Lance Steels, and they did battle one more time in a Loser Gets Banished to the Past Match. The younger Lance cheated to twin, and the original Chikara knight was gone from the company.
