8 UFC Records That Will Be Broken (And 8 That Won't)

5. WILL - Most Wins

Record: Donald Cerrone - 23

Next Best: Demian Maia - 22

Much like the record for most fights, this one is riddled with active fighters all on the cusp of breaking, and increasing, the record in question.

The goal in professional sport is to win, simple as that. In the world of MMA in particular, winning means potentially not being knocked out and suffering any number of medical problems. It's in a fighter's very best interest to win, for both their finances and health.

It's no surprise to see that the leader in this department also had the most fights in UFC history. Donald Cerrone has had his hand raised 23 times inside the Octagon, from his first win against Paul Kelly at UFC 126, to his last win (so far) against Al Iaquinta at Fight Night in 2019.

It's highly likely that he will add to that tally, increasing his own record in the process. If he doesn't though, Demian Maia is hot on his trail, just one win behind and still active.

Jim Miller sits alongside retired legends GSP and Michael Bisping on 20 wins, but the long-term risk sits one further back in the form of Jon Jones with 19 wins.

Jones, at just 32, is much younger than anyone else on the list with the most potential to bag wins pretty much every time he steps inside the Octagon. It should only be a matter of when Bones can crack this one before his career ends.
