Record: Vitor Belfort - 12

Next Best: TIED - Thiago Santos, Anderson Silva and Anthony Johnson - 11

Everyone loves a knockout, well, maybe not the person on the receiving end, but nonetheless it's a fans dream and a highlight reel moment nine times out of ten. They're a huge part of what makes MMA the attractive spectacle that it is.

Over the years there have been some incredible proponents of the knockout in UFC, none more so statistically-significant than the evergreen Vitor Belfort. The Brazilian has 12 knockout finishes to his name across what can only be called a very unique career trajectory that began in 1997, and ended in 2018.

A power-puncher in his early days as a heavyweight, Belfort complimented that with a string of sensational head kick finishes during his trip to the light heavyweight division in his later years.

As impressive as his resume of KOs are, his record is very much at risk. Hot on his tail (or maybe not so hot) is Anderson Silva, but the Spider has been very short on success in recent years. Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson is also only one behind, and having come out of retirement for 2020, could very realistically top the table before his career is over.

Thiago Santos is another on the cusp with still a few years left in the tank. So too is Derrick Lewis who is two behind Belfort, but eight of his nine wins have come via KO, so he has a penchant for them.
