Record: TIED - Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller - 33

Next Best: Jeremy Stephens - 32

As of writing, the entire top six on the overall list of most UFC bouts are active fighters. The record will be increased, and then broken, many times in the coming 12 months and beyond. You can bet your house on it.

Cowboy Cerrone will jump into the lead after his highly-anticipated fight with Conor McGregor, though his reign at the top will be short lived. Jim Miller will re-join his fellow veteran in a tie for the lead when he enters the Octagon just four weeks after Cerrone makes the record his own.

Just to keep the top of the totem pole nice and populated, the man who is one fight behind the leaders is Jeremy Stephens, and he will reaffirm his second-place position when he takes part in his 33rd UFC bout, just three weeks after the aforementioned Miller fight.

Former Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski and Brazilian submission specialist Demian Maia are only one further fight behind Stephens, with no sign of slowing down despite their age.

You get the point. They're all still there and increasing the incredible figures.

With more cards, fight nights and ESPN specials every year, it's simply a case of more fighters fighting more often, hence why the record has been smashed and consistently increased year in and year out over the past decade.
