8 Unbelievable Wrestling BLUNDERS You Totally Missed

6. The Royal Rumble 2005 Finish

What's ironic about this entry is that John Cena - who was better at the more important things, like actually drawing crowds and making them lose their minds - was one of the most uncoordinated and clumsy top guys ever. Think the Ultimate Warrior, only his homophobia was worked for some reason, but slightly better, and who cosplayed (quite well) as a PWG guy deeper into his careeer.

Christ, imagine the Warrior doing a code red. He'd slip and burrow into the canvas so quickly that he'd resemble a mole.

It's really quite funny, then, that Cena was such a klutz that when he finally did something remarkable, fiendishly difficult, the likes of which many superior athletes have attempted and failed, he of course did it by accident. He perfected the double elimination spot with fellow new top guy Batista at the 2005 Royal Rumble - so much so that WWE should have pretended it was the finish, ran Cena Vs. Batista on pay-per-view in February, and had JBL interfere or whatever.

You wouldn't have known any better!

They missed out because Vince threw such a childish fit that he couldn't see the dollar signs for seeing red. He was punished - karma is real, it would seem - by tearing both of his quads.
