The rest of the time, John Cena's botches were noticeable.

Given his predilection for calling his spots, it's a wonder he didn't shout "THE WORST STUNNER YOU'LL SEE IN YOUR LIFE!" to his opponents when unveiling that awful springboard variation in 2015.

Then again, he didn't so much blow spots, Cena, as perform half of them terribly, and he's still apparently the greatest of all-time. There's a lesson there for the endless horde of hybrid workers out there: charisma is exponentially more important than technique. If John Cena had no charisma, Billy Corgan wouldn't even have touched him. Tony Khan might have inexplicably given him three weeks' worth of TV and added him to the Mogul Affiliates, but nobody else.

On January 16, 2006, Edge defeated Ric Flair in of all things a TLC match on Raw. Edge won and attacked Flair after the fact before John Cena made the save. You could not see the resulting botch; Cena swung the chair against the rope in a "you wouldn't want to be on the end of that sunshine" motion - but Cena, clumsy as ever, actually smacked himself with it on the rebound.
