6. Danhausen & Some Pretty Good Wrestlers

The Acclaimed/Gunn Club split was accelerated here, as Anthony Bowens accidentally whacking Colten Gunn with his crutch (having risen out of his wheelchair to a surprisingly huge pop) cost the heels a match with Danhausen and FTR.

Max Caster rapped about "beating the sh*t out of a Juggalo" on his way to the ring. In response, said Juggalo claimed to have found some partners who are "pretty good at wrestling", bringing out Cash and Dax. FTR, who are noted Gunn Club proponents on Twitter, did a particularly good job with Austin and Colten, who are coming along nicely as prospects, though the over-as-hell Danhausen was the featured wrestler here. Selling for an extended period before eventually tagging out, he came back in for the pinfall after the crutch shot.

Though house show-like in execution, the match hit every note it needed to - and FTR smashing Bowens' wheelchair up afterwards was a humorous nod to their destruction of The New Day's hotdog cart years ago. Subjectively, though, it'll be a shame to see Gunn Club and The Acclaimed split. Who wants to live in a world where we no longer hear Bowens screaming "SCISSOR ME, DADDY-O!" to a gigantic, jacked 58-year-old man every week?
