Cameron Grimes should've been Million Dollar Champion in the first place, but...better late than never. His banterous chemistry with Ted DiBiase makes them a neat midcard attraction on Tuesdays, and it was about time WWE strapped some gold around Grimes' waist before sending him to the moon.

Ahem.

Kicking off TakeOver 36 with a popular title switch like this was ideal. Fans inside the Capitol Wrestling Center were right up for it too - they cheered wildly when Cam scored the pin, and booed the living sh*t out of almost everything LA Knight tried. That's a very good sign for both men, and it's a compliment to their feud.

Grimes vs. Knight was the right match to open the card. It wasn't ever gonna be some technical classic that'd make Dave Meltzer swoon, but these lads delivered. They were backed by a strong story, and the addition of DiBiase at ringside kept things moving along.
