8. A Lovely Surprise
Being honest, not many would've predicted Chelsea Green coming out with the win in that three-way with Michin and Bianca Belair. This was the EST's match to lose all day long, and...lose it she did. Going with Green shakes things up a bit, and it means Bianca can go back down the tag-team route with Jade Cargill.
WWE laid foundations for that with a quick backstage promo anyway.
Chicago was chuffed for Chelsea, and rightfully so. Look, she's nowhere near the required level in-ring quite yet, but Green does have bags of personality and deserves this chance. Her turnaround from lowly jobber with an attitude to legit star is cool. It's also notable that Piper Niven was absent - perhaps WWE fancies moving on from that duo?
The way Chelsea stole the win after Belair's KOD was fab. She's opportunistic, keeps seizing the moment no matter how much or little TV time creative gives her, and now has a banner win in her back pocket. Onto the ladder match. Here's hoping Green continues to develop there and gets a nice spot or two to take home as a souvenir.
