8 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (10 Nov)

Ups...

8. Dangerous Tay

Anna Jay getting battered
AEW

Presenting Tay Conti as the biggest threat to Britt Baker's Women's World Title reign was the goal of last night's six-woman tag - and AEW did a good job of spotlighting the Brazilian ahead of what will be the most high-profile match of her career to date.

Conti, Anna Jay, and Thunder Rosa wearing a matching shade of pink was a nice touch for the babyface side, who were isolated and beaten down by Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Rebel for an extended period. Worked at a good pace, the match came to a head with a signature move buffet towards the end, with Rosa's dive onto Hayter a nice appetiser for their impending TBS TItle tournament match, before the finish rubber-stamped its success.

Baker thought about hitting the ring to interrupt an attempted DDTay onto Rebel. She froze when Conti glared at her, however, bailing out so that Rebel was left to Tay's mercy, sealing the deal. Afterwards, Britt left her allies high and dry by retreating to the back while Conti and co. took the ring.

That Baker abandoned a crew that, in her eyes, exist only to serve her will come back to bite the Women's Champion someday. For now, this squeezed a little extra juice onto the pay-per-view match.
