8 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (10 Nov)

3. PAC Gets The Axe

Dax Harwood PAC
AEW

Every bit as nasty and grindy as you would have expected coming in, PAC vs. Dax 'The Axe' Harwood was worked at a different pace to almost everything else on the card, but not without scrimping on big spots.

Two dirty rotten scoundrels wore each other out between avalanche brainbusters, shotgun dropkicks, and attempted Black Arrows. Dax, in particular, sold the big bombs like death, going fully limp for a couple of them before working his way back into it with craft and guile. He helped tell a smart story with the finish too, tapping out to the Brutalizer almost immediately so that he could protect himself for Saturday's Tag Team Title fight with the Lucha Brothers.

Andrade, Malakai Black, and Cash Wheeler joining in on the post-match beatdown drew Rey Fenix, Cody Rhodes, and Penta El Zero Miedo from the back, setting things up for the other Full Gear tag. Black and Andrade's vibes still don't feel like they mesh, but perhaps we'll learn more about the two during and after the PPV.
