8 Ups & 1 Down From Impact Wrestling (Jul 7)

Downs...

1. The Most Iconic Knockout In Impact History

The most recent edition of Locker Room Talk had a bit of hype coming into it. Madison Rayne had promised to bring the most iconic knockout in Impact history to her prestigious talk show, this time without the assistance of Johnny Swinger. Who could it be? Is it Taylor Wilde, who was slated for a comeback at March's Lockdown special? Perhaps Hall of Fame inductee Gail Kim? Maybe former Dollhouse member Taryn Terrell?

None of the above. It was Madison Rayne herself.

All that hype for nothing. 'The Locker Room Leader' is on a mission to reclaim her spot at the top of the knockouts division, with the prospect of becoming a six-time Knockouts Champion should she win the #1 contender's Gauntlet Match on 18 July.

For reference, she's behind only Gail Kim at seven reigns, and former Beautiful People partner Angelina Love at six reigns. The segment ended with Tasha Steelz, Kiera Hogan, Havok, and Nevaeh, four of Rayne's fellow competitors, coming to blows at the climax of Locker Room Talk.

It wasn't all bad, with Madison switching places between host and guest being slightly on the funnier side of things. It simply wasn't enough for it to make it onto the Ups, however.

And now to the positives...
