8 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (1 Feb - Review)

3. MJF Shows Ass

MJF Rush
AEW

In another contrived element of the angle, the audience was told to stand by for an interview with MJF. Rush was being interviewed. MJF interrupted. Unless the show is fake, the commentary team weren't to know this.

Still, MJF was on great form; describing his own Spanish as "Cómo se dice...mid", he asked Jose the Assistant to translate his offer of a bounty. Rush accepted with a monologue. In an amusing moment, the self-loathing that lurks within MJF surfaced. "Dipsh*t, translate" he said to Jose. After the mild controversy of the Takeshita promo, MJF showed ass.

He was the idiot, the dipsh*t, who can't begin to speak a second language. His comedic timing here was cracking. He resented doing it. It was written all over his embarrassed face.
