8 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Nov 30 - Review)

1. No Idea What That Was To Be Honest

Jade Cargill
AEW

The Jade Cargill TBS title celebration was a brutally flat and confusing mess.

It was a shame too, because her delivery was significantly better than...whatever the story is meant to be. She looked even more like a superstar than normal and spoke with unshakeable conviction about her great she is. When whatever the story is meant to be was explored, the segment - which hardly looked like a VIP party, it was so poorly staged - fell apart. Really, her entire act has upon the introduction of the Baddies. The Cargill act was so much better when she was an invincible and self-reliant killing machine. Going over that version of Cargill might have meant something; now, it feels like a full year might have been wasted.

The Baddies looked unimpressed by and impatient with Cargill in the background as she negged them. Are they going to turn on Jade, and is that remotely a good idea when Jade, at the exact same time this was teased, cut an unmistakable heel promo?

Bow Wow's interruption was as fake as it was weird. Clearly, no inter-gender match is happening; this is all a thin excuse to have Bow Wow represent a TBS title challenger in a bid for mainstream press.

An unnecessary one too.
