Even those sporting 'Best In The World' t-shirts in the stands should applaud the bravery of having Cody Rhodes win his second Royal Rumble in successive years. CM Punk would've been the easy play call from Triple H - it'd be akin to John Harbaugh telling Lamar Jackson to pick up some yards on a 3rd and 2.

Instead, Hunter kept everyone guessing by running something else and having Punk come up short when bets had flooded in touting his surefire success. No matter, 'cause WWE can use Elimination Chamber to correct Punk's road to 'Mania. Meanwhile, they've positioned Cody to "finish the story".

That was achieved whilst dual World Champs like Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins watched on from respective sky boxes in the building. Their interest only heightened the drama and made the men's Rumble must-win for both favourites. What a story the writers told here, eh?!

More is coming. Can't wait.
