Hold onto your hats, because WWE might've just booked a contingency plan should injury prevent Seth Rollins from appearing as planned at WrestleMania. CM Punk eliminated a shocked Drew McIntyre from the men's Rumble, and the cameras paused to take in both Drew's anguish and Punk's sneaky delight/relief.

Plan B has a foundation. Will it be hatched? Who knows? That decision will rest with Rollins' doctors. They'll be the ones who ultimately decide whether or not Seth is capable of defending his World Heavyweight Title vs. Punk in Philly. If not, then Punk vs. McIntyre is one heck of a backup.

That'd be sheer fire.

Drew now has further motivation to mow down Punk, and CM can understandably point to the unfairness of McIntyre whining about his fate. After all, he was ousted from the Rumble fair and square in Tropicana Field. What are you complaining about, Drew?!

Superb background planning.
