Let's get the bad out of the way first.

Last week, Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox debuted on SmackDown by beating reigning Women's Tag Champs Natalya and Tamina. The ex-NXT stars lost a surname and forename respectively, but looked like a decent addition to the division. Then, this week happened.

WWE need to learn the difference between definitive wins and...this. Liv Morgan and Zelina Vega, who provided some guest commentary on the rematch, brawled at ringside enough to cause a distraction. That left the door open for Nox to surprise Nattie for the win. How this was supposed to stack credibility on top of the newbie babyface team is anyone's guess.

The entire match was background noise to Liv and Zelina's squabbling behind the announce desk anyway. Shotzi and Nox will get that title shot soon, but this was a poor way to set that up, and it didn't do much to get anybody over.
