8 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (4 October - Results & Review)

Ups...

8. Meeting Of The Minds

Adam Copeland
AEW

In a very brief segment at the start of the show, Adam Copeland interrupted Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega as they hyped their match.

Omega, and this joke was deliberately terrible but amusing all the same, said that Copeland had him on the edge of his seat on Sunday. This was a nice way of poking fun at how daft it is that he can't be called Edge, but there was a certain apprehension in their body language. They each seemed to respect the other while being unable to hide the fact that they want to determine who the better man is - a point Copeland articulated in the main event segment.

Both men can be fairly accused of overacting, but this was tense in a shockingly understated way.
