8 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Nov 18)

1. Sabian vs. Cassidy Goes Long

Each of the Downs from this show is gentle, as nothing on Dynamite was harmfully counterproductive, including Orange Cassidy vs. Kip Sabian. Seeing it as the number one Down might seem a condemnation. It isn't.

The bout was largely fine, but took too long in accomplishing what it set out to. Overlong Kip Sabian control periods, a notable botch on the ropes, and the constant threat of Penelope Ford's outside interference made it a more laborious experience than it should have been, though Cassidy taking the win was ultimately the right move.

Miro (who did guest commentary) attacked after the bell until he and Kip were run off by Best Friends. This makes sense within the context of the story, but it could have been done to greater effect in about half the time.
