8 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 15)

The main event for Hard To Kill 2021 is set: Rich Swann, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley vs. Kenny Omega, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson. A mere 16 days into the year, the Match of the Year may have already happened.
Impact EVP Don Callis made the match official following the aftermath of the main event. After Rich Swann confronted Karl Anderson for his cheap victory over Chris Sabin, 'The Machine Gun' initiated a brawl that saw the return from injury of Doc Gallows, as 'The Big LG' stormed the set and decimated Shelley with a boot straight to the jaw. Swann subsequently Superkicked Gallows, before he too was left laying after being swatted down with a wet floor sign by, you guessed it, Kenny Omega. Cue the AEW World Champion to make the challenge for the January 16 pay-per-view.
What makes this match that extra bit more anticipated, though, is that Kenny actually called it a Bullet Club reunion. Whether Impact promotes it as such will be shown in due course, but they'd be foolish to do anything different. If you've got three of the most synonymous Bullet Club members teaming together on your first pay-per-view of the year, why not add a fancy tagline?
Needless to say, this is undoubtedly the most hyped main event in recent Impact history. For them to be able to say an AEW-contracted wrestler main evented the second annual Hard To Kill pay-per-view will go down in the Impact history books forever. As it turns out, when Bullet Club say for life, they truly mean it.
