8 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling Rebellion 2019

8. Slammiversary Is Coming

Prior to the main event, a video package aired indicating when Impact would be returning to pay-per-view. The date is Sunday, July 7th. The city is Dallas, Texas. The event is Slammiversary XVII. Impact's anniversary show is heading to Dallas!

Admittedly, this is a slightly risky move on Impact's part, as New Japan Pro Wrestling are in Dallas the day before to kick off their annual G1 Climax tournament. There's no real need to say this but it's unquestionably NJPW who are the more popular of the two promotions. In a way though, Impact could capitalise on the Japanese lads coming in the day before, as fans attending that may be on a wrestling high and could attend Slammiversary the following day.

Nothing else has been revealed for the event thus far, but Rob Van Dam will most likely be in action as he's making a full-time return to the company at this week's TV tapings.
