8. Philly Fans Responding To Corbin's Opening Promo

King Corbin Dolph Ziggler

Fans in the UK couldn't have cared less for 'King' Corbin's "little chihuahua" jokes or his 10-minute opening promo. They sat on their hands, booed when they could be bothered and acted like WWE had been handing out free bottles of Night Nurse.

This week, things were a bit more lively.

Philadelphia played along by booing Corbin heavily and even sat politely when WWE tried the old "funny" mascot trick again. It's amazing what a polite live crowd can do for wrestling television, and Philly proved that even when they could've taken a dump all over this Vinnie Mac-produced fluff.

Corbin is way better at this gig than most on Twitter would ever give him credit for. He's a willing clown, doesn't take himself too seriously and cheats to win. That's a heel, and he positively nailed his material here to the best of his abilities.
