The tag match pitting Shorty G and Ali vs. Ziggler and Roode wasn't too shabby either.

Fans bought into a Moonsault near fall from Shorty towards the end, and they popped huge when Ali stopped the heels from winning after a double team Zig-Zag. The closing few moments were all-action, and included a Roman Reigns Spear, an Ali dive and then Mustafa winning it for his team with a 450 Splash.

Philly erupted for most of the near falls, hot tags and Reigns putting Corbin in his place. This was as good a reaction as WWE could've hoped for; the crowd's noise buzzed through the TV screen, making SmackDown a much more enjoyable experience to watch. When this company get tag wrestling right, they get it right.

If you're a doubles fan, then check this one out. It didn't have the usual non-finish fans have come to expect from TV matches, and it had one of the hottest closing sequences you're likely to see in any company. Yes, that includes AEW.
