1. Cody Rhodes Says A Little And Says A Lot

"We're not in the third inning anymore, boys".

With one line, Cody Rhodes provided a much-needed reassurance that his character is still focussed on the biggest possible picture even if he's found himself diverted by a number of smaller ones since WrestleMania 39.

The comment was in direct response to where Paul Heyman felt The Bloodline saga AKA Roman Reigns' lengthy title stint was at following his win at SummerSlam, and served as a reminder that Finishing The Story is still very much at the top of Cody's agenda. Bringing up the SmackDown trade and his transparent ulterior motives for bringing Jey Uso to Monday Night Raw, this was well-timed exposition in light of The Rock's sudden emergence as a favourite to face 'The Tribal Chief'.

'The Show Of Shows' was an 'American Nightmare', but Rhodes remains proof that you can still believe in the dream.
