8 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE Raw (19 Aug - Results & Review)

Despite the criticism leveled in this column regularly, there needs to be an acknowledgment of the Wyatt Sick6’s popularity week after week.

The group elicits one of the biggest reactions from fans each time the lights go out and the fog starts rolling in. All five are committed to their characters and are playing their parts well. Their in-ring action hasn’t diminished fan interest, and they remain a hot act.

The test will be whether they can maintain and sustain this reaction for months, especially after they are no longer feuding with American Made, who seem to be pretty good foils for the masked wrestlers. Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers (and Ivy Nile) are the overconfident jocks who talk a tough game and cower at the first sign of trouble.

It remains to be seen whether this will continue for the long term, but for now, the Wyatts are delivering in the arena each week, and Monday was no exception. Next week’s match between Uncle Howdy and Gable will be another test.
