4. Sami Zayn's Return

Bringing back Sami Zayn with his own Intercontinental Title is a logical re-entry point for him onto WWE's roster. Plus, it'll theoretically set up some Zayn vs. Jeff Hardy matches, or perhaps a three-way between those guys and AJ Styles. Start rubbing your hands with glee over those.

They could be show-stealers.

The best wrestling heels have self-belief, but they also have a little bit of credibility. Zayn, who never technically lost the IC Title in the ring before disappearing from screens this past May, can rightfully claim ownership over the belt for now. His "true" Intercontinental Champ story should be compelling.

Armed with enough delusion that'll he'll give Jeff ammunition for his own promos, Sami is great. His mic work will offset Hardy's deficiencies there, and (again) they'll excel when put in the ring together. Bring this on. Bring it on now.
