AJ Styles on comms = comedy gold.

WWE don't typically do comedy well, so it was nice to have some natural laughs on SmackDown. AJ came across as energetic and invested in his story alongside Michael Cole and Corey Graves, and his passion brought their work up a notch too.

Bonus points go to Styles for hilariously cutting a giggling Cole down when the play-by-play man poked fun at his "I'm not medically cleared" claims. Cole asked if AJ would go backstage for a doctor's note when Jeff Hardy chucked Shinsuke Nakamura on top of him.

Firing back, AJ roared, "You're gonna' have to go back and see the doctor if you don't shut your hole!". That was funny, and it successfully protected Styles without going off on too big a "You're gonna' have to go back and see the doctor if you don't shut your hole!" or ruining the reason why Styles was on commentary in the first place.
