There were some fans whinging on social media about the brevity of the SmackDown Tag-Team Title match. Think of the alternative: WWE could've put on some 10-15 minute match between two teams who really didn't have any issues before Friday. Those same people would've been unhappy about that too.

No, the short DQ result was for the best.

Anyone who reads this writer's work regularly knows he's not a huge fan of The Street Profits, but Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode represent a chink of light for their babyface purpose. They've been excellent as a heel tandem before, and they'll be so again once this feud really starts rolling.

The Profits need a good rivalry, because their prior angles with the likes of The Viking Raiders and the now-defunct Andrade and Angel Garza team over on Raw were pretty useless. Hopefully, Dolph and Roode can get more out of them long term.
