8 Ups & 4 Downs For AEW Collision (9 September)

3. Solid Progression

While they weren't featured on the show in major ways, backstage promos and vignettes gave some semblance of progression for the Dark Order, Powerhouse Hobbs, FTR, Keith Lee, and the Righteous.

For John Silver, Alex Reynolds, and Evil Uno, they were shown in a smiling, positive, bright video package that is at least something different to the tried, tested, and tired Dark Order schtick of recent times. In the case of Powerhouse Hobbs, he got to talk up his battle with Miro and once again make reference to the Book of Hobbs.

As for FTR, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler put out an open challenge for any tandems looking to prove their worth against the AEW Tag Team Champions. For Keith Lee, he got to cement himself as a Collision singles act. And for the Righteous, a short video package continued to help introduce them to an AEW audience who may not necessarily be keeping up with their work in ROH.

None of this was exactly ground-breaking, but it nicely kept things ticking along or moving forward for the talents involved.
