8 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (May 13)

5. Diced Pineapples

Pineapple Pete's quest for revenge lasted little over a minute. It was perfect.

Chris Jericho came out with his boys, because 'Le Champion' is exactly the kind of d*ckhead who'd bring a five-on-one advantage into a bout with a hopeless, overmatched enhancement guy. The Inner Circle set the tone by slapping Suge D right across the face. This drew fire from auld Pete, who went nuts on Jericho, lighting him up with strikes and putting him in the corner, loving life. That love turned to unconsciousness as he charged towards Jericho for a big move, eating a concussive Judas Effect for the 1, 2, 3.

A former World Champion and all-round wrestling legend should be putting a guy like Pineapple Pete away with this kind of ease. Wonderful stuff.
