8 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Worlds End 2023

4. AEW Giveth…

AEW Worlds End 2023 Adam Copeland Killswitch
AEW

Copeland won the TNT Title by beating Christian with his own Killswitch finisher. That was awesome, and the crowd continued roaring with approval as the ex-WWE man hoisted the strap high above his head. Moments later, the walking, talking version of Killswitch would be Adam's undoing.

More on that in a bit.

For now, let's applaud AEW for booking Copeland to cut down Cage and put him in his place temporarily. The hot crowd reception wasn't shocking, but it does bode well for future marquee matches starring the artist formerly known as Edge. He's also shown he's a real team player by giving lower-tier talents like Nick Wayne and Killswitch some shine too.

They're more over by association to this story than they would be working their own matches on the undercard elsewhere. Right, back to Killswitch. The former dinosaur watched Copeland seize some gold, then helped his patriarch take it away.
