AEW Worlds End 2023 Miro CJ Perry

Now, it's time to celebrate everything that was right about Worlds End. Spoiler alert: THERE WAS A LOT OF IT. There's no better place to start than with Miro vs. Andrade El Idolo too, not least 'cause it turned out to be one of the show's most surprising success stories (which isn't something this writer saw coming beforehand).

The match was one of those hoss fights that Miro, in particular, has become so good at. No, it didn't reach the heights of prior scraps like his one against Powerhouse Hobbs, but it was still fun to watch he and Andrade smack meat. OK, perhaps that sentence could've been worded a little better!

CJ Perry helping her husband score the win and then possibly reuniting with him is smart too. Miro and CJ together on camera just makes sense heading into 2024. Also, and this is worth saying, El Idolo entered a slick performance. He did business the right way, which ends his AEW run on a high.

That's if the rumours are true and he's leaving, of course.
