8 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 10)
Ups...
8. All Alone Now
During a backstage interview with Gia Miller, Deonna Purrazzo seemed rather confident ahead of Turning Point. Too confident, really, considering she's challenging Su Yung for the Knockouts Championship in a match where anything goes. Keep in mind, though, 'The Virtuosa' has the numbers advantage with Kimber Lee in her corner.
Except, now she doesn't. There was an awkward zoom in on Purrazzo for a chunk of time, and once it panned back, 'The Crown Jewel' was gone, eventually being found by Purrazzo as Lee was thrown against a blood-coated window.
This wasn't anything major, but it added some depth to Saturday's title match. When the no disqualifications stipulation was added by Scott D'Amore last week, it was clear that Purrazzo would have Lee interfere for essentially the entire match. By more or less having her written out of the title match, it takes away that predictability, which was hugely required.
