8 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 10)
1. Return Of The Queen
Last night's episode began with Havok and Nevaeh vs. Tenille Dashwood and Madison Rayne, a match that could have been far better than it turned out to be. Coming into things, the story was that 'The Locker Room Leader', who is now primarily a broadcaster for Impact as opposed to an in-ring wrestler, was willing to come back into the ring to tag with Tenille.
The duo seemed incredibly eager to tag with one another on Locker Room Talk, so to then see them bickering nonstop throughout their first match together here was dire. It was a complete 180 from what we saw of them last week, and their position as a tandem going forward remains unclear as we edge ever closer to the Knockouts Tag Team Championships Tournament.
It's a real shame, seeing as the match itself was fine overall. Rayne didn't look a step out of place. Even though she was primarily the ragdoll here, she looked great, which came as a surprise considering she stopped being a full-time wrestler earlier this year in favour of replacing Don Callis on commentary. A Tombstone Piledriver courtesy of Havok ended the night for 'The Queen Bee', as her first Impact match since July is one she'd rather you forgot.
