7. It Was Goofy But It Worked

This felt like one mind.

Last year's haunted house shenanigans didn't really click, but the comedy-meets-horror skit Toxic Attraction and Alba Fyre worked on Saturday night successfully managed to break up the night. WWE smartly positioned it right after the cracking ladder match opener (again, more on that soon).

Obviously, the segment was OTT and undeniably cornball fare, but in a totally fun way. Who wouldn't get a kick out of seeing Mandy Rose nut shot a Halloween monster, or knee another sliding one right in the face? Those were cool little sneaky spots that Rose juggled in between brawling with Fyre.

WWE will never be able to resist the urge to revisit 2020's cinematic glory days whenever they've got a horror theme to mess around with. That's fine when everyone involved in these goofy sequences embraces the silliness from the off.

Attraction and Alba did.
