8 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (15 April - Results & Review)

7. Cody Does Babyface Things

Cody Rhodes
WWE

This week was not a huge week for Cody Rhodes, but he still managed to accomplish a fair amount with his limited screentime Monday night.

Rhodes continued to keep The Rock’s name at the forefront, calling attention to the Final Boss saying he was going to make Cody bleed again, and adding, “If I’m gonna bleed, you’re gonna bleed with me.” Sign everyone up for that.

Cody then turned his attention to the Bloodline, showing that he’s closely monitoring the ongoing drama with the faction he finally toppled at WrestleMania 40, which means it’s still a threat to his title. And lastly, after bringing Jey Uso out, Rhodes showed he’s a good babyface in offering to be in his corner to ward off any Judgment Day interference.

A simple night for the American Nightmare, but it still worked.
