8 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (15 April - Results & Review)

6. Welcome Back, Lobsterhead!

Sheamus Ivar
WWE

Too many limes, too many limes…

Oh Sheamus, how we missed you – and your old theme. The Celtic Warrior returned to action Monday night in a pretty bog standard match against Ivar, toppling the Viking in pretty straightforward fashion. There weren’t many surprises in this one: Sheamus did hit an avalanche White Noise at one point, though.

Regardless, seeing Sheamus back in the ring for the first time in eight months is always a welcome sight. He adds depth to the roster, is a legit threat for almost any title, is capable of having great matches, and as Michale Cole noted, is still in pursuit of his first Intercontinental Championship.

Bonus points to Cole for referencing the Viking Experience, truly one of the worst tag team names in recent memory and another reminder of how brutal 2019 WWE television truly was.
