3. Mick Turns Into Stephanie

Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon are overbearing. The duo continue hogging significant airtime on a near-weekly basis, and Stephanie's penchant for verbally destroying active roster members endures through the New Era.

The General Manager and Commissioner played a slightly lesser role than usual last night, but they were still involved in a handful of segments. One saw them summon Sami Zayn, and for just under a minute, Foley sounded like he was reading lines intended for Stephanie.

Foley chastised Zayn for his inability to beat The Miz at Survivor Series, and claimed that he'd let Raw down by not bringing the Intercontinental Title to Monday nights. As punishment, Foley placed him in a match against the brutish Braun Strowman, effectively guaranteeing that at best, Sami would leave Raw with a few extra bruises, but at worst, he'd be departing in an ambulance.

It was a staggeringly vindictive move for Foley, who's supposed to be the affable foil to Stephanie's all-out megalomania. It's not befitting of his character to dish-out such severe punishments, particularly to wrestlers as popular as Sami, and only complicates his increasingly strange relationship with Stephanie.
