7. Never A Dull Moment

There’s a non-zero chance that Nia Jax’s return will eventually blow up in some fashion – someone will get injured, fans will tune out, diminishing returns or some other consequence.

But the ride should be anything but boring, and that’s enough to warrant an “up” here.

Jax laid out the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions and their opponents, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark, on Raw Monday night, putting the women’s division on notice. That’s a total of six women flattened at Nia’s hands in two weeks, and all of them are featured players (it’s not like she attacked Tegan Nox and Xia Li in the middle of a random match).

It’s unclear why they feel the need to have a known quantity like Jax squash numerous talent to get across she’s a threat – that should already be established just by her previous run with WWE. But watching her steamroll women in her haphazard way is both legit terrifying and perversely entertaining.

It might all fall apart in the next week or so and Nia dominates the “downs” for the rest of her stay. But those who crave chaos should be pleased regardless.
