Top hats off for Chelsea Green, who has perfected her brand of comic relief.

One-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Green has found a way to strike a balance between her “Karen” character, a vain champion, and an actual competitor.

Monday, Chelsea tried to sell herself and partner Piper Niven as best friends, which fell apart when she guessed the Scot hailed from England, Ireland and then Florida. Their tag match against Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark saw Green absorb a ton of punishment from both, but also dish out some offense, looking proud of herself every time she connected with a kick or missile dropkick.

It was a fun performance from the tag champ Monday night, right up until Nia Jax squashed her.

Say what you will, but Green has figured out the cheat code for being entertaining. There’s no denying that she commands your attention when she’s onscreen, whether she’s complaining to Adam Pearce, verbally flailing about with Piper, or getting abused in the ring.
