8 Ups & 6 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Sep 29)

3. No, No, No

Speaking of Rosemary and John E. Bravo's wedding, the groom was on hand this week to finally settle who would be his best man, as Johnny Swinger battled Fallah Bahh. Bravo had already chosen Bahh for the role, something Swinger didn't take too kindly to, which led to this match.

What followed was a few minutes of nothingness, culminating in 'The Swing Man' blasting Fallah with Crazzy Steve's stuffed monkey toy for the win, all while Cody Deaner inadvertently distracted referee Brandon Tolle. Everything about this was beyond ridiculous. The monkey had a bell around its neck, so how Tolle didn't hear anything is strange to say the least, plus, how can a blow to the head from a stuffed animal be enough to end a match?

Bravo wasn't going to stand by and watch this, and so ordered a restart of the match, which was won by Fallah Bahh courtesy of a Banzai Drop. So, in the end, we had the same best man John E. had originally chosen, meaning there was no need for this match to be a thing.

Your writer had high hopes for this wedding when the proposal first occurred. Now, though? Not quite.
